iTero Element Intraoral Scanner

ONE OF THE LEAST enjoyable steps to getting braces, implants, or retainers is having an impression taken of your teeth. But what if there was a piece of technology that rendered this step unnecessary? Good news, because that’s exactly what the iTero element 2  Intraoral Scanner does!

What Is An Intraoral Scanner?

The  iTero Element 2 Scanner is a state-of-the-art digital impression
system that eliminates the need for messy putty in your mouth. With our iTero Element Scanner, we can digitally capture a detailed 3D model of your teeth and gums. Not only is this process far more comfortable than the old putty based impressions, but it’s faster and can offer a superior clinical endpoint. There is  no goop or gag to worry about .No unpleasant taste or smell .

How is the iTero Scanner used?

The iTero Element scanner works by scanning each of your teeth and the layout of your gums and mouth by a wand . The whole process only takes 10-15 minutes and quickly provides an extremely accurate, 3-D view of your mouth. Once the scan is complete, we can view the images together, and even see a simulation of your braces or Invisalign treatment. The iTero scanner is also used for various restorative treatments such as bridges,crowns,inlays/onlyas,implants and veneers too.The data can then be sent wirelessly to Invisalign or to a number of other labs with the click of a button.
